This year, on 14th October, the historical first meeting of the European Parliament of Enterprises took place in Brussels. The European Parliament’s President, Hans Gert Potering, and the European Commission’s Chairman, Zhoze Manuel Barozu, opened the meeting. VentEko/Riga Ironman Team in Nica!27.06.2008
On the 22th of June VentEko/Riga Ironman Team participated in the prestigious competition “Ironman France” in town Nice among more than 2500 other participants. In only four years this event has become one of the most prestigious competitions in the world. In the beginning participants swam 3.8 km in the Mediterranean Sea. Then also cycled 180 km and ran 42.2 km (marathon). read more » |

On the 1-3th of May, the "Jelgava Cup 2008" took place already the fifth time. Curlers from neighbouring and remote countries arrived to take part in this event. Twenty-eight teams participated in the competition. read more » |
